LEADERLESS. GODLESS. USELESS.
By Brother Anthony Peña
THIS clamor of leadership from the bitter members of FART-C church and their propaganda that the true Iglesia ni Cristo is in disarray reminds me of the prophets of baal when they were begging for fire to burn their offerings to their false god. The false prophets did everything that they can, from shouting at the top of their lungs to dancing around the altar they had built but no action came from their god. They even cut themselves with spears and swords until their blood flawed hoping to get pity and mercy from baal so that he will answer their supplication. But all their efforts were in vain.
The delusional false prophets of the FART-C church (Yuson,Farley,Dizon, Menorca and etc.) together with their members are also doing everything that they can so that their perceived leaders would come out. They are trying so hard to destroy the Iglesia ni Cristo. They continue to make countless of malicious allegations against the Church and the Church Administration. They connived with unscrupulous politicians and other religious groups. They claim to be hostages. They maintain that their lives are in danger. They portray themselves to be already ‘bleeding’ from all the imagined injustices that they have ‘suffered’. They even held a worldwide devotional prayer for 40 days. But just like the efforts of baal’s prophets, everything that they did are useless. Because no matter what they say to convince themselves that they are still of God, the Biblical truth remains that those who are separated from Christ or not members of the Church of Christ are without hope and without God (Eph 2:12). The cowardice of their perceived leader to come out from hiding highlights the fact that the Holy Spirit have indeed deserted him.
"At that time you were apart from Christ. You were foreigners and did not belong to God's chosen people. You had no part in the covenants, which were based on God's promises to his people, and you lived in this world without hope and without God" (Eph. 2:12 GNT)
"God’s Spirit doesn’t make cowards out of us. The Spirit gives us power, love, and self-control" (II Tim 1:7 CEV)
