Not believing in Jesus Christ if believing He is a Man?

About The Lord Jesus Christ

NOT BELIEVING IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IF BELIEVING HE IS A MAN?

“I heard people saying that your Church doesn't believe in the Lord Jesus Christ because you reject His divinity and believe that Jesus is a man. Is it true that you don't believe in the Lord Jesus Christ?”

WE DEFINITELY BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God (cf. Matt. 16:16), our Lord (cf. Acts 2:36), our Savior (cf. Acts 5:31) and the founder and owner of the Church of Christ (cf. Matt. 16:18; Rom. 16:16). Now, if believing that the Lord Jesus Christ is a man means not believing in Him, this would mean that Jesus don't believe in Himself because Jesus Himself said that He is a man:

“I am a man who has told you the truth which I heard from God, but you are trying to kill me. Abraham did nothing like that.” (John 8:40, NCV)

The Lord Jesus did not only said He is a man, but also showed that He is different from God. He said, "I am a man who has told you the truth which I HEARD FROM GOD." Also, when the Lord Jesus Christ said that He is a man, it is an admission that He is not God because the Bible explicitly said that "man is not God":

“Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyre, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou has said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art man, and not God...” (John 8:40, NCV)

The Lord Jesus Christ Himself said, "I am a man." God Himself said, "man is not God." Thus, when Jesus said "I am a man" it only means that He is not God. Even the apostles of the Lord Jesus like Apostle Paul explicitly said that Jesus Christ is a man:

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (I Timothy 2:5, NIV)

Apostle Paul did not only said that Jesus Christ is a man, but also showed that the Lord Jesus is different from the Lord God in saying that the man Jesus Christ is the Mediator between the one true God and men. Thus, in saying that the man Jesus Christ is the mediator between the one true God and men is also an admission that Jesus Christ is not the one true God. Apostle Peter also explicitly said that the Lord Jesus is a man:

“The God of our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has glorified HIS SERVANT JESUS. You handed Jesus over to Pilate. You rejected him in Pilate's presence, even though Pilate had decided to let him go free. You rejected THE MAN WHO WAS HOLY AND INNOCENT. You asked to have a murderer given to you.” (Acts 3:13-14 God’s Words, emphasis mine)

Like the Lord Jesus Himself and Apostle Paul, Apostle Peter clearly said the Lord Jesus is a man. He said, “You rejected the man who was holy and innocent.” Also, like the Lord Jesus and Apostle Paul, he showed that the Lord Jesus Christ is different from God. He also said, “The God of our ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob has glorified HIS SERVANT JESUS.” These words of Apostle Peter that that the holy and innocent man Jesus is the servant of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is a plain admission that Jesus is not God.

Therefore, it is wrong to say that because we believe that Jesus is man and not God we don't believe in Jesus, because if so, then Jesus doesn't believe in Himself because He Himself said that He is a man, and the apostles don’t believe in Him because they also preached that the man Jesus Christ is the mediator between the one true God and man.
